The Administration Console displays no users
If CSE is running and you launch the CSE Administration Console but no users are displayed, then CSE may not be able to identify the Active Directory server. The solution is to configure the name of the Active Directory server in CSE.
How to configure the name of the Active Directory server
- From the Start menu, select Run....
- In the Run window, enter "regedit".
- Click OK.
The Registry Editor opens.
- Navigate to the following registry key:
- 32-bit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cloudmark\Cloudmark Server Edition\Properties - 64-bit:
HKLM\Software\Wow6432node\Cloudmark\Cloudmark Server Edition\Properties
- 32-bit:
- Right-click the ADServer property to open the pop-up menu.
- Select Modify.
The Edit Multi-String window appears.
- Enter the name of the Active Directory server.
- Click OK.
- Right-click the ADChaseReferrals property.
- Select Modify.
The Edit DWORD Value window appears.
- Set the Value Data field to 1.
- Click OK.
- Close the Registry Editor.
- Restart CSE.
- Open the Administration Console to verify that the user list is now displayed.
