Spoofed spam messages from our domain are not filtered
Spammers "spoof" messages by modifying the From field so that the message appears to come from within your organization. If your CSE whitelist contains your organization's own domain, then CSE will not filter spoofed spam messages.
To resolve this issue, remove your local domain from the whitelist:
How to remove your domain from the whitelist
- Open the Server Configuration window.
- Click the Whitelist tab.
- Select your domain in the Email Addresses table.
- Click the Remove button.
- Click OK.
Instead of whitelisting your local domain, consider disabling filtering for local messages:

- Stop the CSE service.
- Open the Server Configuration window.
- In the Mail Origin area of the Spam tab, deselect "Check messages originating from the local domain".
- Click OK.
- Start the CSE service.
