Cloudmark Server Edition

How to set up ISA 2004 Server on which CSE is installed

Cloudmark Server Edition must connect through port 2703. The procedure below explains how to configure CSE to connect when it is installed in a ISA 2004 Environment.

  1. Open the ISA 2004 Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
  2. Select the server name in the left panel to expand it.
  3. Click Firewall Policy.
  4. Click Create New Access Rule in the panel on the right under Tasks.
  5. Enter a name for the new rule.
  6. Click Next.

    The Rule Action page appears.

  7. Select Allow.
  8. Click Next.

    The Protocols page appears.

  9. Select Selected protocols from the drop down menu under This rule applies to.
  10. Click the Add button.

    The Add Protocols box appears.

  11. Select New.
  12. Choose Protocol.

    The New Protocol Definition Wizard appears.

  13. Enter a name for the protocol, such as "Cloudmark Service".
  14. Click Next.

    The Primary Connection Information screen appears.

  15. Click the New button.
  16. Enter the following information:
    • Protocol type: TCP
    • Direction: Outbound
    • Port Range: From = 2703 To = 2703
  17. Click OK.
  18. Click Next.

    The Secondary Connections screen appears.

  19. Select No.
  20. Click Next.

    The Add Protocols window appears.

  21. Expand User-Defined from the list.

    Cloudmark Service should now be listed under Protocols.

  22. Click Next.

    The Access Rule Sources window appears.

  23. Click the Add button.

    The Add Network Entities window appears.

  24. Expand Networks.
  25. Select Local Host (and Internal Network if CSE is not installed on ISA).
  26. Click Add.
  27. Click Close.

    Local Host should now appear in the list under "This rule applies to traffic from these sources".

  28. Click Next.

    The Access Rule Destinations window appears.

  29. Click the Add button.

    The Add Network Entities window appears.

  30. Expand Networks.
  31. Select External.
  32. Click Add.
  33. Click Close.

    External should now appear in the list under "This rule applies to traffic sent to these destinations".

  34. Click Next.

    The User Sets window appears.

  35. Click Next (defaults to All Users).
  36. Click Finish to close the New Access Rule Wizard.
  37. Click the Apply button.
