How to set up CSE dependency for Exchange

If Cloudmark Server Edition (CSE) is installed on the Exchange server, the CSE service will attempt to start prior to Exchange starting. This causes the CSE startup to fail. In order to prevent this, you must set up a CSE dependency on Exchange.

Please do the following:

1. Open the registry on the Exchange machine.
2. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CMSE\.
3. Create a new Multi-String value name called "DependOnService".
4. Assign "msexchangeis" for value data.

You should no longer experience the problem of CSE starting before Exchange.
