Jacinta Tobin

Vice President Global Sales and Operations, Cloudmark Division

Ms. Tobin is responsible for all Cloudmark’s Global Sales, Marketing, and Operations efforts. She is an industry leader known for her ability to significantly increase revenues and lead all customer-facing efforts. She has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Technology and one of Silicon Valley’s Top Irish Technology Executives. She has over 20 years of experience as a leader in the cybersecurity and messaging space, as well as being a founding member of the Messaging, Malware, Mobile, Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG).

Ms. Tobin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from University of Cologne, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Languages from University of Dublin. She is fluent in English, French, German, and Irish.

Michael Laudon

Vice President and General Manager, Engineering and Product Management, Cloudmark Division

Michael Laudon is responsible for Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and 24x7 Security Operations for the Cloudmark business. Mr. Laudon brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in multiple disciplines to the Cloudmark team. Prior to joining the Cloudmark business within Proofpoint, he was the Senior Vice President in charge of Engineering, Product, IT, and Cloud Operations at healthcare startup Vital Connect. Mr. Laudon also has experience as the Vice President of Product in the ByteMobile division of Citrix Systems, where he was focused on delivering a world-class mobile network optimization platform. Mr. Laudon has also held senior leadership positions at Silver Spring Networks (now part of Itron), Force10 Networks (now Dell Networking), and Cypress Semiconductor.

Mr. Laudon holds a patent in semiconductor design and a patent in networking technology. Mr. Laudon earned both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Angela Knox

Vice President of Engineering, Cloudmark Division

Angela Knox is VP of Engineering for Cloudmark Products. She oversees the research and development of the Cloudmark team’s high-performance Message Transfer Agent (MTA) and policy engine, the content filtering technology, cloud platform, sender reputation services and threat intelligence data systems. She has over 20 years of experience in Internet messaging and security. In 2015, Computer Business Review named her as one of Five Women leading the way in cybersecurity.

Ms. Knox earned a BCom/BSc in information systems and computer science from the University of Auckland in New Zealand and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Mike Reading

Senior Director, Professional Services, Cloudmark Division

Mike Reading leads the field technical teams that are responsible for customer presales, professional services, technical account management, and support. He has over 27 years of experience delivering messaging and messaging security solutions to service providers, mobile operators, and fortune 500 companies. While at Cloudmark, Mr. Reading was part of the initial team of solutions architects that lead Cloudmark’s evolution from a company primarily focused on consumer and desktop applications to a company positioned to solve messaging security problems for some of the world’s largest service providers. He has led the development of the company’s anti-abuse policy best practices and sender reputation strategies and helped Cloudmark establish and maintain market leadership across the Americas and around the world.

Mr. Reading holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Computer-aided Engineering and a Bachelor of Science, both from Cornell University. He has been part of the M3AAWG since its inception and is a member of several M3AAWG technical subcommittees.

Kevin San Diego

Senior Director of Product Management, Cloudmark Division

Kevin San Diego is the Senior Director of Product Management for Cloudmark and currently leads the software and service planning efforts for the company’s suite of email and mobile messaging security products. He started his career in the messaging industry at one of the first hosted email service providers in the late 1990s. As a 20+-year messaging industry veteran, Mr. San Diego also participates in numerous speaking engagements and remains an active member of multiple industry working groups, including M3AAWG, JPAAWG, GSMA, CFCA, CTIA, and APWG. He currently serves as the co-chair of the mobile security special interest group for M3AAWG.

Mr. San Diego holds a BA in Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz and an MBA (Summa Cum Laude) from Dominican University of California.

David Somerville

Sr. Director, International, Cloudmark Division

Mr. Somerville is responsible for Cloudmark’s international sales, go to market strategies, and global mobile strategic alliances. Mr. Somerville is an industry leader with over 20 years working in executive, consulting, and advisory board positions for public and private companies, supporting the world’s major communication service providers, enterprises, and government agencies. Prior to joining Proofpoint, he held officer and senior executive sales, marketing, and business development positions at leading companies in the cybersecurity, identity access management, mobile communication and cloud solutions industries, including Imageware Systems, Fortscale, Norse Corporation, Cloudmark, and Network Equipment Technologies. Mr. Somerville has consistently achieved global industry leadership through development of market leading value propositions, customer centric solutions and alignment with key industry associations including the GSMA and M3AAWG. His achievements are fueled by a passion for achieving both business and customer/partner success.

Mr. Somerville holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and electronic engineering with a minor in business studies from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland.

Myles Naughton

Director, Americas Sales, Cloudmark Division

Mr. Naughton is responsible for Cloudmark’s sales efforts through the Americas. He has over 30 years of experience working in the high-tech and mobile industry. He has been focused on mobile messaging for the past 23 years and cybersecurity over the past 10 years. He has years of Sales and Marketing management, leading teams from start-ups to multinational companies. He is known for his ability to lead teams to build revenues, improve customer satisfaction, and provide creative solutions to various issues with a can-do attitude.

Mr. Naughton holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and has worked towards completing a Master’s in Business Administration focused on Telecommunications from Keller School of Management.

W. Stuart Jones

Director, Technical Marketing, Cloudmark Division

Stuart Jones is responsible for technical marketing and messaging strategy for the Cloudmark division. Mr. Jones’ background in communications and messaging is extensive and over the past 25+ years, he has held executive management positions leading operations, marketing, product management, and sales for multinational corporations such as Motorola and Nokia, and start-up and growth stage businesses including Cirries Technologies and the highly successful Apertio. Mr. Jones is involved with multiple IT and cybersecurity organizations including AITP-Chicago (member board of directors), Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and is vice-chairperson of the mobile malware group of M3AAWG.

Mr. Jones earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering both from Purdue University. He has been a successful visionary in the industry and holds ten US, multiple international, and several pending patents.

Dave Kelly

Director of Worldwide Support, Cloudmark Division

Dave Kelly is the Director of Worldwide Support for the Cloudmark products leading a team of engineers in North America, EMEA, and APAC providing 24x7 support. He has over 30 years of customer support experience including time spent as a support engineer at Hewlett-Packard in the UK. He has over 25 years of messaging experience starting with X.400 and then SMTP.

Mr. Kelly holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Portsmouth University in the UK.
