How to set up ISA 2000 Server on which CSE is not installed
Cloudmark Server Edition must connect through port 2703. The procedure below explains how to configure CSE to connect when it is installed on a host other than the ISA 2004 host.
- Verify that the Web proxy and Firewall services are running:
- Open the ISA Management Console.
- In the console tree, click to expand server_name\Monitoring (where server_name is the name of the server).
- Click Services.
You will see an entry for Web proxy and Firewall. They should both have a Status of Running.
- Create a new Destination Set:
- In the console tree, click to expand server_name\Policy Elements (where server_name is the name of the server).
- Right-click Destination Sets to open the pop-up menu.
- Select New > Set.
- In the New Destination Set name box, enter Cloudmark Servers.
- Click Add
- Click IP Addresses.
- In the From field, enter 208.83.136.0.
- In the To field, enter 208.83.139.255.
- Click OK.
- Repeat the above steps i through ix. In the From field enter 208.83.136.0, and in the To field enter 208.83.139.255.
- Create a new Site and Content Rule
- In the console tree, click to expand server_name\Access Policy (where server_name is the name of the server).
- Right-click Site and Content Rules to open the pop-up menu.
- Select New > Rule.
- In the Site and content rule namestrong> box, enter Allow CSE Out.
- Click Next.
- Click Custom.
- Click Next.
- In the Apply this rule to drop-down list, select Specified destination set.
- In the Name drop-down list, select Cloudmark Servers.
- Click Next
- Accept the default of Always for the Schedule by clicking Next.
- Accept the default of Any request for the Client Type by clicking Next.
- Accept the default of Any content type for the Content Groups by clicking Next.
- Click Finish
- Create a new Protocol Definition:
- In the console tree, click to expand server_name\Policy Elements (where server_name is the name of the server).
- Right-click Protocol Definitions to open the pop-up menu.
- Select New > Definition.
- In the Protocol definition name box, enter Outbound 2703.
- Click Next.
- In the Port number box, enter 2703.
- Under Protocol type, select TCP.
- Under Direction, select Outbound.
- Click Next.
- Accept the default of No for the Secondary Connections by clicking Next.
- Click Finish
- Create a new Protocol Rule:
- In the console tree, click to expand server_name\Access Policy (where server_name is the name of the server).
- Right-click Protocol Rules to open the pop-up menu.
- Select New > Rule.
- In the Protocol rule name box, enter Outbound 2703.
- Click Next.
- Accept the default of Allow for the Rules Actionby clicking Next.
- In the Apply this rule to drop-down list, select Selected protocols.
- Under Protocols, select HTTP, HTTPS, and Outbound 2703.
- Click Next.
- Accept the default of Always for the Schedule by clicking Next.
- Accept the default of Any request for the Client Type by clicking Next.
- Click Finish.
