How to migrate CSE to a new Exchange server

1. Disable users for CSE filtering on the existing server:
• Open the Cloudmark Server Edition Administration Console.
• In the console tree, click to expand Local Machine.
• Click Users.
• Select all of the users in the list.
• Right-click the selected users to open the pop-up menu.
• Select Disable.
2. Move the mailboxes from the existing Exchange server to the new Exchange server.
3. Install and activate CSE on the new server.

   By default, all users are enabled when you install CSE.

Note: You can have both servers running CSE and actively filtering during the migration, but you must have a separate, unique CSE service user for each Exchange mailbox Store.
