Errors connecting to Exchange 2007/2010 after installing CSE for the first time
After installing CSE for the first time in an Exchange 2007/2010 environment, the following error occurs:
Cloudmark Server Edition cannot establish a connection to the Exchange server.
CSE communicates with the Microsoft Exchange Server through the Microsoft Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) to receive notifications when messages arrive and to perform actions on messages that are determined to be spam.
Starting with Exchange 2007, MAPI does not come pre-installed. In order to resolve this issue, download and install MAPI/CDO from Microsoft on your Exchange server and, if it is different than the Exchange server, on the machine where CSE is installed:
