Cloudmark Announces Availability of Cloudmark Desktop for Mozilla Thunderbird

Award-Winning Spam Filter Now Available for Mozilla Thunderbird Users

San Francisco, December 3, 2007 – Cloudmark, Inc., the global leader in messaging security, today announced the availability of Cloudmark Desktop™ for Mozilla Thunderbird™. Cloudmark Desktop is an award-winning spam filter that offers the industry's highest accuracy in blocking spam, virus and phishing attacks and has been rated best-in-class by leading consumer publications in the U.S. and Europe.

Previously available only for Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Cloudmark Desktop is now available for the Mozilla Thunderbird client, an extremely popular free e-mail client with several million users and more than 50 million downloads since inception1. Currently, there are few spam filtering options available for Mozilla Thunderbird users that are effective against the growing volume and sophistication of spam, phishing attacks and e-mail borne viruses.
