Where are Cloudmark's alternate discovery servers?
When Cloudmark Server Edition is installed in an environment that uses a DNS proxy or does not have DNS configured, CSE automatically switches to IP-based discovery. This bypasses DNS and communicates with a Cloudmark discovery server using its IP address instead of a hostname.
CSE can be manually configured with the IP address of the alternate discovery server. This can be helpful in addressing "Unable to connect..." errors. See the online help for details about configuring connections.
The current alternate discover server IP address is 208.83.136.12.
