I'm running AVG and all of my messages are going to the Spam folder.

AVG Internet Security conflicts with Cloudmark Desktop by adding a footer to each incoming email message which causes Cloudmark Desktop to filter it as spam. To resolve this issue, you must configure AVG so that it does not add this footer. AVG will continue to check for threats.

How to remove the AVG footer in AVG 7.5

  1. In your System Tray, right-click the AVG icon to open the AVG menu.
  2. Select Launch Control Center.
  3. Double-click E-mail Scanner.
    The E-mail Scanner window appears.
  4. Click the Configure button.
    The Test Options window appears.
  5. In the Email Scanning box, uncheck both of the Certify Mail checkboxes.
  6. Click OK to close the Test Options window.
  7. Click OK to close the E-mail Scanner window.
  8. Restart Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
    AVG will continue to check for threats but will no longer add a footer to your messages.

How to remove the AVG footer in AVG 8.0

  1. In your System Tray, right-click the AVG icon to open the AVG menu.
  2. Select Open AVG User Interface.
  3. Go to Tools > Advanced Settings.
    The Advanced AVG Settings window appears.
  4. Click on E-mail Scanner in the left window pane.
  5. In the right window pane, uncheck both of the Certify Mail checkboxes.
  6. Click OK to close the Advanced AVG Settings window.
  7. Close the AVG User Interface.
  8. Restart Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
