I still hear the "new email" bell or see the "new mail" icon.

Microsoft Outlook's "new mail" bell may be triggered by incoming spam or phishing messages before Cloudmark intercepts them. Cloudmark Desktop cannot suppress the "new mail" bell. In Cloudmark Desktop for Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, it may help to select the "Mark spam as read when detected" option.
