I clicked the Block button, but the message wasn't moved to my spam folder.

This problem can occur for these reasons:

  • You are not connected to the Cloudmark Service.
  • Certain messages are not considered spam and will not be blocked.

    These include Exchange system messages and blank messages.

  • Cloudmark Desktop's Detection Action is not configured to move spam and phishing into your spam folder.

    The procedure below explains how to change this.

How to configure the Detection Action

  1. Open the Cloudmark menu.
  2. Select Options....
  3. In the Detection Action box, make sure that one of the following is selected:
    • Move to folder "Spam"
    • Move to Spam folder and delete permanently after 1 week
    • Move to Spam folder and delete permanently after 1 month
  4. Click OK.

    If the problem persists, submit a Request for Help.
