When using Cloudmark Desktop for Microsoft Outlook on Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Vista, there may be a long delay in moving spam to the spam folder. This can happen if the Windows Firewall is enabled but Outlook is not listed as an excepted program.
If you aren't sure whether the Windows Firewall is enabled, follow these instructions:
If the Windows Firewall is enabled, then "On" is selected in the General tab of this control panel.
If your Windows Firewall is turned on, follow these instructions:
If Outlook is not listed, click the Add Program button and select Outlook from the list of programs. If Outlook is not listed in the list of programs, click on the Browse button and browse to the location of your Outlook program, then click Open.
