What: Professional Training: DKIM Implementation
Where: MAAWG 19th General Meeting, Barcelona, Spain

DKIM is the leading standard for adding trust back into email, assisting receiving services to correctly identify and deliver safe mail. DKIM uses cryptographic signing to identify an organization that is taking responsibility for a message. This training session will provide practical instruction on implementing DKIM, explaining how DKIM works, planning DKIM strategy, how to deploy it on email servers, and how to use it as a trust-based tool.
The session will be led by two active participants in the DKIM standard development process and industry adoption efforts. Kucherawy is the primary author of both Sendmail libdkim and OpenDKIM, the most widely used open source DKIM software. He will join Dave Crocker, MAAWG senior technical advisor and principal of Brandenburg InternetWorking, who also oversees DKIM.org.
Industry professionals can request to attend the June training sessions in Barcelona by selecting “training” as the inquiry type on the “Contact Us” form at the MAAWG website, http://www.maawg.org/contact_form, and sending a message specifying the session with the requestor’s name, company, title, phone number and email address. The three-day event following the training is open to members only and will focus on mobile platforms.
