Collaboration Delivers Industry-Leading Cloudmark Authority® Technology to Global Forefront Security for Exchange Server Customers
San Francisco — April 16, 2009 — Cloudmark, Inc., the global leader in carrier-grade messaging security, today announced its work with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) to integrate Cloudmark Authority®, the company's flagship messaging anti-abuse platform, into the next generation of Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server. Cloudmark Authority software delivers fast and highly accurate spam, phishing and virus protection and was selected as a critical anti-spam engine. Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server integrates multiple scan engines from industry-leading security firms to help businesses protect their Microsoft Exchange Server messaging environments from viruses, worms, spam and inappropriate content. The solution also integrates on-premise and hosted-filtering services into a single solution. The collaboration between Microsoft and Cloudmark further extends the reach of Cloudmark's messaging security technology to Microsoft enterprise customers using Forefront Security for Exchange Server.

An in-memory cache of verified fingerprints is updated every 45 seconds to catch the latest threat outbreaks.
